Lead Your Own Tour is for teachers, non-profit leaders, places of worship, and even someone who wants to lead a group of family and friends. We can work with you on the perfect trip to the Dominican Republic or Costa Rica: volunteer service, sports, and outdoor adventure. Chaperones travel for free.

We work with a partner on managing travel while the ILI Foundation partners with local organizations in each country. Each member of your group earns a certificate in Volunteer Service Abroad.

For any group, tours can be custom designed for 4-14 days, and our most common trip is 8 days in length. We offer what one can call non-religious mission trips, but places of worship are welcome to join us as we are honored to also partner in faith-based service.

Chaperones travel for free, and all participants have an opportunity to earn a certificate international service. When it comes to service, we believe in supporting locally-defined sustainability goals. We believe the local leaders are the experts in what their schools and communities need. Projects range from being a camp counselor, teaching English, teaching art, planting gardens, environmental preservation, building a basketball court, providing resources to combat human trafficking, and more.
